We've recently launched the second phase of homes at the immensely popular Oval Quarter in Lambeth.
The iconic South London regeneration project is creating a new urban village on the former Myatts Field estate, and is set in over 7.2 acres of Zone 2 parkland. The development will be introducing a total of 146 one, two and three bedroom Shared Ownership apartments and houses.
Each apartment boasts a high specification finish, including a fully fitted kitchen with Howdens units, beech worktop and stone floor tiles, plus Zanussi and Smeg appliances, from an integrated fridge freezer to a washer dryer. Bathrooms feature a Roca suite and contemporary wall and floor tiling.
All available apartments also offer a private terrace or balcony, while the development features communal gardens, exclusively for residents' use.
Oval Quarter is designed with a 'walkable neighbourhood' layout of open streets and with plans for excellent on-site facilities including an express supermarket and other independent stores. A new, state of the art community centre is also planned which will form a centrepiece within the development, with floor to ceiling glass windows, open plan layout and high specification interiors. It will house a café and become the central hub for after-school clubs and a venue for residents' and public meetings.
Surrounding Oval Quarter are several long-established London neighbourhoods, each one with its own character and amenities. The development is near major retail stores with Boots, Sainsbury's and Marks & Spencer's in nearby Brixton Road and Stockwell. Residents will also enjoy shopping and exploring local cuisine at independent food traders, located in Camberwell and the renowned Brixton Market. There is also a local farmers market once a week, at St Marks' Church in Oval.
The development is well connected with both Brixton and Oval Underground stations (Victoria and Northern lines) located within 1.5km.
The second phase of homes will include one, two and three bedroom apartments and houses, with prices yet to be released.
