Art in the Docks
Visitors on the day will also get an exclusive first look at Bow Arts’ brand-new gallery space in E16, Art in the Docks. The inaugural show will showcase the wealth of creative talent in the docks, celebrating the dockside development’s unusual history and featuring over 70 local artists like puppet designer Charlie Tymms and photographer Aidan Brooks.
Throughout the day the public will get the unique chance to meet artists, designers and makers at Bow Arts’ RAW Labs and take part in free workshops suitable for all ages, with no registration required. Taking place from 11am until 5pm, artists will host a range of pop-up events in Pumphouse Square open to all members of the public.
For peckish guests looking to purchase a delicious lunch, there will be plenty of choice including a ‘Dosa on the Dock’ from Café Spice Namasté, run by celebrity chef Cyrus Todiwala, who will be opening a restaurant at Royal Albert Wharf later this year. There will also be gelato and homemade chocolate from the fully vegan Well Bean Co's Chocolate Factory café which is based at RAW Labs.
