A number of our Shared Ownership developments have wheelchair adaptable apartments, designed with accessibility in mind for ultimate comfort and ease. Design changes you might find within these homes include wider doorways, grab rails within bathrooms and en-suites, and switches/plug sockets at different heights.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a wheelchair adaptable apartment:
- At least one member of your household must be registered disabled
- You must have a household income of under £90,000 (or £80,000 for areas outside of London)
- If you’re a homeowner, your existing home must be under offer and be deemed in need of housing by your local council
- You must meet any development specific eligibility criteria - please check eligibility for developments you’re interested in
