It’s the weekend and the current heatwave sweeping the nation shows absolutely no signs of letting up!
With temperatures approaching 30°C, it’s not just perfect BBQ weather, but also a chance to visit some of London’s hottest rooftop bars:
East
Roof East, Stratford, Newham
Open until throughout the summer until the end of September, Roof East is a great East London bar offering much more than beverages with a view. Roof East is home to ‘De La Bowl’ ‘Sluggers’, Rooftop Film Club, Crazy Golf, Rooftop Yoga and much, much more.
East is growing and proving to be a popular location for people looking to settle within London with it’s excellent transport links provided by Stratford International, Westfields Shopping Centre and Stratford’s Olympic legacy.
South East
Franks Cafe or The Prince of Wales, Peckham, Lambeth
Highly commended by London's edition of Time Out, Franks Cafe in Peckham is a favourite due to its "festival like" feel. Opening in 2015 and providing reasonably priced drinks with breathtaking views of the city, Franks Cafe is visited by thousands of London every year. We'd suggest getting there as early as possible as it's known for reaching capacity as early as 6pm during the hottest of London days.
According to the Evening Standard, Peckham ranks number 1 for 2017s best places to live and it’s hard to see why the suburb could be second to others. Benefitting from millions of pounds of investment over the last twenty years, Peckham’s seen a regeneration transforming it from the backdrop of Only Fools and Horses to a lively and diverse location with plenty of local restaurants and bars. Peckham is a great place to rest, eat and/or play.

1800 Tequila at OXO Tower, Harvey Nichols, Central London
In a perfect location for post-shopping/work drinks in the heart of the city, Harvey Nichols is home to 1800 Tequila at OXO Tower. Enjoy incredible views of the city whilst alfresco dining. We highly recommend the breakfast cocktails!
All of our homes are in a prime location in relation to central London.
